Ladies Installation

Things will be great in 2008. I want to thank all of you for your support and good wishes. Our installation dinner went very well, and it was great to see all of you ladies there. It was fun and the speakers, Katherine Sears and Lacey Davis, who have been Shriner children were wonderful.

If there were a category for Best Helpers for the Installation Dinner, Cindy Stivers would be one of the nominees. She single handedly took the reservations, made the lists, took the cancellations and charmed all who called her. Another nominee is Barbara Bills who took a good look and said, "Rose, you could use some help!" She did the most wonderful job of creating the favors, place cards for the head table and helping on the registration desk. She bought the clown stamp that she used for all the stamping she did. Huge Thank Yous go to both Cindy and Barb. The Registration was made so smooth by the work that Cindy did and the the dynamic trio of Barb, Kathy Tedrow, and Rose Bills helped women feel comfortable and ready for a great evening.

Other great help was given by Aides Ladies Irene Weeks, Dee Archuletta, Doris Ragan, and Phyllis Allen who decorated the room and tables. I know that we will have a great time this year because the women of Al Kaly are such a special group. I look forward to seeing all of you April 5 at the La Renaissance in Pueblo for the Luncheon during the Ceremonial. Of course I'd love to see you also at the Potentate's Ball, April 19.
